We have prepared a selection of photos, not only showing "tugs at work" but also tugs being under repair or docked. Tugs have to be ready at any time which requires permanent maintenance and attendance. Overhauls of engines, auxilliary engines, gearboxes or hydraulic system are as much part of Fairplay's rigid maintenance program as for it is for example the regular attention to the ships' conservation- and painting-status.

In 2005 has celebrated its 100^th anniversary.  All active und retired "Fairplayers" were invited to participate in a foto-competition under the motto "My picture of Fairplay". At the end of our Fairplay foto-gallery, you will be able to view the presented fotos. A jury awarded prices for the "Top 3" and a special price was awarded for the most "artistic" foto.

At this Fairplay staff-party we were proud to welcome Mr. Rudolf Sielk as a very special guest. Mr. Sielk, a former Fairplay engineer, celebrated his 100^th birthday on 28^th July 2005, in fact 3 months ahead of Fairplay. On 17^th December 2006 Mr. Sielk passed away almost 102 years old.
